FDA clearance for hands-free XACT robotic system

Clearance for marketing has been granted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to XACT Robotics’ hands-free robotic system for usage in Computed Tomography (CT) guided percutaneous interventional procedures.
As per the Xact Robotics, the system can be used in an assembling of clinical applications and indications.
Adding more, relatively small footprint and mobile design of the robotic system allow care providers to serve to a variety of patient requirements across multiple clinical areas.
A physician can utilise the XACT robot by attaching the desired tool to the system, which will perform the needle insertion and steering. The physician will be able to trail the progress and correct any deviations.
